In this module you’ll learn how to get acapellas – both how to get studio acapellas that have already been made, and how to make your own high-quality acapellas (much better than those that DJ software can give you), including how to do it with freely available software.

Module 3: “Beatgridding Acapellas”

Beatgridding acapellas is the secret trick that lets you mix with them perfectly, every time – and it is easy once you know how! In this module we talk you through the basics, and then show you exactly how to do it on all popular software, including how to beatgrid “difficult” acapellas.

Module 4: “Stems Overview”

Whether you choose to use stems simply for instant acapellas, or want to take it further with live mashups and remixing, you need to understand how they work and how to set them up, which often includes Midi mapping. It’s all covered in this module, with lessons for all the major software platforms.

Module 5: “Acapella Mixing Fundamentals”

One thing most DJs never really learn are the rules for getting acapella mixes sounding great. Not you though, because here you’ll learn it all – things like getting the timing right, using hotcues and loops, using key sync, and finally how to easily incorporate acapella mixing into your wider DJ sets.

Module 6: “Basic Acapella Tricks & Techniques”
